Jay A. Yoder, CFA is an accomplished investor and author. He spent 10 years directing the endowments of Smith and Vassar Colleges, generating top-quartile returns for most of his tenure. He subsequently left to co-found an asset management firm which today has $280 million under management. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years with an investment consulting firm.
Yoder's first book, entitled "Endowment Management: A Practical Guide", was published in 2004. Yoder serves on the board of trustees at Albright College, where he chairs the investment subcommittee. He also sits on the investment committee of the Winston-Salem Foundation. Yoder holds a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts from Albright College. He earned his CFA designation in 1992.
