Talking Points:

• There are a lot of seasonality studies that we can run, but only certain ones help our trading

• December performance for the US Dollar, EURUSD, USDJPY and Gold show little consistancy

• A persistent positive performance and drop in volume for the S&P 500, though, bolsters 'risk' trades

'Seasonality' is a term that is used heavily in trading circles through the end of the year, but only certain measures can help your trading. For example, we see little consistency in performance for USDollar, EURUSD, USDJPY and even gold through December. On the other hand, there is a statistically impressive positive performance and downward trend in volume that we see from the S&P 500 - my favored benchmark for risk trends. This offers a significant probability boost for FX traders when we look to position with risk-positive, persistant trends. We discuss seasonality and its trade opportunities in today's Forex Strategy Video.
