Forex pairs in this Article » AUD/USD (Barcelona) - Players on the AUDUSD and other AUD crosses should enjoy decent volatility in less than 1 hour from now, when the Australian Bureau of Statistics will announce the Q3 GDP number. Today's forecasts differ one from the other from as low as 0.1% to reaching levels of 0.8%. Keep an eye on the number for tips on future RBA monetary policies.

Commornwealth Bank is on the extreme optimistic side, expecting the economy to have expanded by 0.8% (QoQ) in Q3. Westpac is also positive on its predictions, although its quote shows a degree of hesitation: "While the headline 0.6% q/q growth rate we expect would be the same as in Q2, we see risks of a surprise tilted to the downside." NAB is more conservative and while it recently raised its forecast, still sees growth at the lower end at 0.3% (previously 0.1%) for annual growth of 2.9%.
