FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - TD Securities analysts expect a smaller inflow of new workers following the outsized creation of 52K jobs in September. The net change in employment in Canada should be a decline of 10K positions in October. "This is below the consensus estimate for an addition of 10K jobs, though several forecasters are looking for a more significant gain", wrote analyst Alvin Pontoh. "Our sense is that the labor market is due for a pullback, as is typically the case following big swings in employment", Pontoh added, expecting the unemployment rate to remain unchanged at 7.4%
