Forex Flash: Expert near-term consolidation on AUD/USD - Rabobank

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The AUD has struggled in the past few sessions against the USD. According to Jane Foley, senior currency strategist at Rabobank, "the combination of "China risk" and the much lower carry available on Australian paper threatens to subdued upside potential in the AUD going forward; near-term we expect consolidation vs. the USD around current levels and while we have a 12 mth forecast of AUDUSD1.05 this is well below the 2011 high near USD1.1080."
