Forex Flash: Fresh AUD/USD highs on the horizon - Nomura

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Nomura Strategist Geoffrey Kendrick believes that AUDUSD can reach fresh highs by H2 2013.

He feels that a combination of rebounding Iron Ore prices, LNG prices which are linked to oil, Supranational issuances replacing non-resident buying of Government bonds and passive intervention being just a one off, most likely with the SNB buying are all fundamental reasons supporting his long view.
