Forex Flash: More USD gains vs. EUR expected for 2013 – Wells Fargo
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - According to Wells Fargo in a monthly research note this October:
WF outlook: "The U.S. dollar could enjoy a stronger period around year-end following a significant shift in FX positioning, and if the European/U.S. news flow becomes less supportive of market sentiment."
WF adds: "For 2013, we expect further greenback gains against the euro, pound and yen as the U.S. economy outperforms those respective countries and regions."
WF continues: "Commodity and emerging currencies should gain against the U.S. dollar in 2013 as markets steady and global growth firms, although our Australian dollar view has turned from mildly positive to essentially neutral."
