FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - NZD fundamentals are still positive, in view of Mike Jones and Kymberly Martin, BNZ Strategists. Against this backdrop, the Analysts still retain a year-end NZDUSD forecast of 0.8200. From Mr. Jones and Ms. Martin: "We expect the NZD to begin tracking lower from around mid 2013, with two key assumptions underpinning this forecast. First, the US economy finally kicks into gear. Second, NZ's external accounts continue to deteriorate. The current account deficit is already nudging 5% of GDP and we expect it to be closer to 7% in a year or so."
