NZD/USD
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to Currency Strategist at BNZ, Mike Jones, 2013 wont be a year for clear or strong trends in the Kiwi, as he notes that "the year will be characterised by range-trading rather than strong trends," the analyst says, while NZDUSD is currently pushing against the 0.84 round figure, near the recent 3-week highs at 0.8410.
"Our forecasts have the NZDUSD holding above 0.8000 for all of 2013, with 0.8100 expected for year end," Mike adds, expanding: "We see the risks around these forecasts as skewed to the upside over the first half of 2013, and to the downside over H2," he concludes.
