FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - USDCAD fell sharply after the fiscal cliff deal in the US, taking out support at 0.9950 to now approach opening the doors for a retest of 0.9930.
Shaun Osborne, Chief FX Strategist at TDS, note: "The move has so far been halted by the 50% retracement of the Sept/Nov rally, but the risks are geared lower now. In the short term, the December lows near 0.9825/30 are the clear support below."
