FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The NZDUSD stormed ahead during the onset of Asian trading earlier today, though it ultimately failed to breach the 0.8400 level (0.8399 session high). Since then however, the exchange rate has eased slightly, settling in the region of 0.8357/59 in these moments, whilst recording a steadfast advance of +0.95% above its opening on risk appetite.

With positive news of the fiscal cliff being resolved, the cross has rocketed above most of its calculated resistances at 0.8303, then 0.8318, and finally 0.8349, as determined by the Mataf.net analyst team. Conversely, a prolonged easing movement or consolidation would result in the retest of supports found at 0.8257, onto 0.8226, and eventually 0.8211.
