FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The US dollar has slowly retraced intraday gains versus the loonie, having returned to daily lows as the greenback weakened slightly in quiet holiday session.
USDCAD found strong resistance at the 0.9877 area and turned lower after the European close, sliding to the 0.9850 area. The pair is currently trading around 0.9855, 0.2% below its opening price, although still above its daily low of 0.9849 scored earlier.
As for technical levels, next supports are seen at 0.9849 (daily low), 0.9830 and 0.9800, while on the other hand resistances could be found at 0.9880, 0.9900 and 0.9930.
