Forex: USD/CAD in 15-week lows around 0.9850

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Loonie has accelerated its appreciation against its fellow neighbor on Tuesday, falling as low as 0.9852, levels last seen in early May, ahead of June Wholesale Sales in Canada (+0.1% exp.) and a speech by BoC Council member Cote, due in the European evening.

Since June toppings above the 1.0400 levels, CAD has been gaining ground against the USD, to the actual 0.9854 or -0.32%. Support levels are located at 0.9828 (low May 3) ahead of 0.9800 (2012 low Apr.27) then 0.9776 (low Sep.19 2011) and 0.9755 (low Sep.2 2011).
On the upside, a breakout of 0.9888 (high Aug.21) would open the door to 0.9902 (high Aug.17) then 0.9935 (high Aug.15) and 0.9941 (high Aug.14).
