FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The greenback strengthened on Friday and advanced versus most competitors as investors seek for refuge ahead of the first round of fiscal cliff negotiations in the US.
Against the franc, the dollar rose nearly 50 pips throughout the day and reached a daily high of 0.9461 before easing slightly and settling just below its 100-hour SMA. At time of writing, USDCHF is quoting at the 0.9455 zone, recording a 0.4% gain on the day.
As for technical levels, the Mataf.net analyst team locates immediate resistances at 0.9460, 0.9490 and 0.9510, while they see supports at 0.9440, 0.9405 and 0.9380.
