FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - USDCHF has recently posted a daily low at 0.9510 ahead of the hotly anticipated Bernanke speech at the Jackson Hole Symposium.

During an a European session characterised by USD weakening, USDCHF has fallen a point its lowest price since July 3rd. Bernanke's headline speech approaching rapidly, a spike in volatility can be expected. Early forecasts are mixed but members of Bernanke's Fed cohort have spoken out in favour of introducing further stimulus measures. However, whether the political landscape with US elections in November holds an influence remains to be seen. Other US economic data releases prior to Bernanke's speech are the Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index and Factory Orders, however, in such a climate, they look to be overshadowed.

US Equities have opened higher across the board whilst European Stocks remain elevated alongside commodities. Spanish yields are up 1.95% and Italian yields are up 0.16%.
