FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - After rallying on the back of the stronger-than-expected US nonfarm payrolls report, the dollar is trimming gains versus most competitors as stocks turn negative after US House Speaker Boehner's said there is no progress in fiscal cliff talks.

USDJPY retested its 7-month high scored on Nov 22 at 82.82, but was once again rejected from that level. The pair has retreated to the 82.20 area, erasing intraday gains. At time of writing, USDJPY is quoting at the 82.25 zone, now down 0.2% on the day.
