Forex: USD/JPY jumps to intra-day highs around 81.40

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - After trading below the 81.00 mark almost the whole Monday, the US Dollar has jumped around 25 pips in the last hour from 81.10/15 zone to break above mentioned mark and reach intra-day highs at 81.40.

Currently the USDJPY is trading at 81.40, flat on the day. According to the FXstreet.com Forex Studies, MACD, CCI, Momentum and ROC are bullish in the 15-minute time frame. While CCI, Momentum and ROC are positive too in 1-hour chart but MACD and Stochastics are neutral.

80.80 area comes as immediate support, followed by 80.60. "This last should hold to keep the midterm bullish trend alive," comments Valeria Bednarik. Support levels: 81.05 80.80 80.60. Resistance levels: 81.45 81.70 82.00
