FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The US dollar strengthened and rose to fresh daily highs versus most competitors as the risk-off sentiment intensified within the last hours amid very thin liquidity as US markets are closed due to the Hurricane Sandy.
EURUSD made a marginal new low for the day at 1.2984, although it managed to holds above the 1.2880 support level. It was last down 0.4% at the 1.2895 area.
