FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - A mixed session in today's Asian trading closed with China's Shanghai Composite soaring the most, by +2.26%, followed by Hong Kong's Hang Seng (+0.46%), while Japan's Nikkei Stock Average took profit after reaching 11,000 (-0.94%) and South Korea's Kospi eased -0.36%. Australia was closed for public holiday. An overall light session, with no particular economic indicator or headlines.

Futures for the German DAX 30 (-0.19%) and the French CAC 40 (+0.14%) are signaling a mixed start of the week ahead of EMU money supply and private loans data. WTI crude oil trades at $96.08 (+0.18%) and Gold rises to $1662.41 (+0.22%).
