EUR/USD holds above 1.3400

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The EUR/USD hit a fresh daily low during Wall Street trading at 1.3408 but then rebound and currently trades at 1.3420, down 0.08% from Friday’s closing price.



The upside was capped by the 1.3430 area and then the pair retreated, moving away from Friday’s highs that lie at 1.3443. While to the downside, the EUR/USD found buyers on Monday above 1.3400 on a low volume session.



Ahead of the ECB meeting the pair still holds a bearish bias in the short term, but the US dollar lost momentum after the US employment report last Friday.
