GBP/USD back near daily highs

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The GBP/USD is trading back near daily highs after rebounding around the 1.7140 area. During the European session the pair peaked at 1.7156, the highest price since October 2008.



Currently trades at 1.7162, up 0.08% for the day so far, headed toward the fifth daily gain in a row. Cable is the best performers among majors and rising across the board.



GBP/USD short term outlook

The pair still holds a neutral bias in the short term and strongly bullish on a wider perspective. Since the beginning of the day the GBP/USD is moving in a range between 1.7140 and 1.7170.
