USD/CHF breaks 0.9120, rises to 7-month highs

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The USD/CHF broke above 0.9120 after FOMC minutes that boosted the US dollar across the board. The pair peaked at 0.9137, reaching the strongest level since January 21.



USD/CHF highest close for 2014



Price remains near the highs, consolidating a gain of 40 pips, headed toward the highest daily close since November 20, 2013. The USD/CHF is about to post the third daily gain in a row and remains with bullish momentum.



Since the beginning of the week the pair has risen more than a hundred pips. On Wednesday finally broke above a key resistance level located around the 0.9110 area, that capped the upside various occasions during August.
