Surely the seller is trying to make a profit off the item he or she is selling or at the very least minimize his or her losses. Elvis and James Dean Painting
This painting of Elvis Presley and James Dean was painted by Gerald Sabatini on hardwood and comes housed in a hand-made sculptured frame. The painting is listed on eBay for a whopping $7 million. In the past, the listing has received two offers, but the bids were not accepted and the painting is still available for purchase.
Shane Butcher's Life
This item can be considered the most publicized of the high-value listings on eBay. In what is described as "selling my life," Shane Butcher is a self-made millionaire who is selling everything he owns for $3.5 million. This includes his 3 R U Game franchises, his two homes, his cars and office. Butcher says that he has completed the American Dream and it's time to start a new dream. According to his testimonial, he has received a few offers, but if it doesn't sell he will be content in remaining a successful businessman.
Space Monkey Sam Photo
For those that do not know, Space Monkey Sam was one of the first animals to be a part of NASA's space exploration program. On Dec. 4, 1959, Sam was launched into space by NASA and his shuttle reached a height of 55 miles. He was one of the few animals to make it back after attempting to travel into space. The photograph of Space Monkey Sam is signed with Sam's Paw print, has a stamp from the U.S. Air Force which indicates that it is an original and is the only known signed photo of the monkey. It is currently listed on eBay for $5 million and has zero bids.
This isn't your run of the mill house. This bed and breakfast, located in rural Ithaca, N.Y. and built in 2003, sits on over 40 acres of land. The building itself is over 10,000 square feet and it's listed on eBay for $2.4 million.

Collected by a man known as "The Lunchbox Kid," this collection contains over 675 lunch boxes. It contains items that are one of a kind such as the only known thermos from Chile and signed lunchboxes from the 1950s. The collection is being sold for over $1.7 million.
