An Overview Of The MetaTrader 4 Mobile App: Introduction

MetaTrader 4, commonly called "MT4," is a trading platform developed by MetaQuotes Software for online trading in forex, contract for differences (CFD) and futures markets. The MT4 Trading Terminal provides tools and resources that allow traders to analyze price, place and manage trades and employ automated trading techniques. In addition to the desktop trading platform, MT4 is now available for a variety of mobile devices. Traders using MT4 mobile apps are able to manage their accounts from portable devices like smartphones, pocket PCs and tablets. The user interface and functionality of the MT4 apps are similar to that of the desktop version, and traders can access charts, utilize technical analysis tools and place and manage trades while away from the computer.



Note: Similar to the desktop platform, various brokers offer slightly different versions of the MT4 Mobile applications, including those that offer more or advanced functionality. Check with your broker to see if it offers MT4 Mobile applications.
