Ryan Belanger serves as an Advisor at Claro, working with clients to develop, implement, and oversee solutions to address their wealth management and financial planning needs. Ryan dedicates his time to helping clients understand the investment landscape and prides himself on delivering affordable, quality investment choices because he believes his clients deserve better. He provides fee-only consulting services for individuals, families and businesses seeking advice in managing their investment, retirement or trust accounts.
Prior to founding Claro Advisors in 2012, Ryan spent seven years at Morgan Stanley where he became a Vice President responsible for advising clients in all aspects of wealth management. His clients included individuals, families, businesses as well as high school and college endowments. Ryan received a BA in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross and holds several securities industry licenses, including the FINRA Series 7, 24, 66, and the Life and Health.
Ryan is actively involved with the local charity group, "Follow Us", as well as the Winter Foundation, a non-profit basketball summer camp in Maine. Ryan is also a volunteer teacher at the Collegiate Success Institute, where he teaches resume building, public speaking, and interview skills to inner city high school students. Additionally, Ryan is on the Executive Committee for the American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer annual event. Ryan resides in Boston’s Back Bay and enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with his family.
