After a career in business - having served as CFO for a manufacturing company for over a decade, & after having founded & sold a marketing company, - John entered wealth management. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he was a wealth management advisor at Merrill Lynch.
John is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Economics & Business Administration. He is the 2018 President-Elect of the Financial Planning Association of Los Angeles, where he supports the organization's values of competence, integrity, relationships, and stewardship. He is also President of the historic 111-year-old Beaux-Art Higgins Building in downtown Los Angeles. John is active in the community as Board President for a historic Beaux-Arts building in downtown Los Angeles. John is the 2017/2018 President-Elect of the Financial Planning Association of Los Angeles, where he supports the organization's values of competence, integrity, relationships, and stewardship.
