Amy spent the first seven years of her career in journalism, focused on writing and producing articles for print and online about the people, businesses, entertainers, and events in South Texas. In that time, she and her fellow colleagues earned the TAPME Features Award (3rd Place), TAPME Community Service Award for "Spirit of Christmas" feature series (3rd place), and the TAPME Community Service Award for "Spirit of Christmas" feature series (1st place).
Amy then moved on to work in the technology field as a product tester and reviewer for Top Ten Reviews and Tom’s Guide. Later, she transitioned into a senior writer position for Fit Small Business, where she reviewed and wrote about software and hardware for small business owners. As her career progressed, she moved into an editor position, and eventually promoted to director of content. Now she works in health-tech.
