An accomplished writer, editor, and trainer, Janet Arrowood is the managing director of The Write Source Inc. Her firm, founded in 1991, offers writing and editing services to a number of clients across the globe. She's done technical and proposal writing, as well as put together coursework and training programs. Training programs include those for continuing education for the CFP®, insurance, and real estate fields.

Janet's specialty is financial and insurance writing. She's done newsletter writing for the likes of EverBank and Merrill Lynch, and penned articles for Registered Rep. Magazine and the Denver Business Journal. Previous experience includes acting as a senior scientist for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and a senior staff engineer for Martin Marietta. She was also an officer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Janet is the author of a number of books, with topics including insurance, mathematics, and financial advising. Her most recent book, published in 2016, is Plain Language, Please: How to Write for Results.
