Brigitte Yuille began her journalism career as an editorial assistant at the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. While working in New York City, she became a line producer, news writer, and a video editor for both local and cable news networks, such as FOX, CW, and CBS.

Brigitte moved to Florida and became an on-air state capitol press reporter and producer for PBS and a debt management reporter for Bankrate. When she was earning her graduate degrees in Communications and Business Administration, she worked as a freelance writer. Brigitte covered topics such as business, finance, politics, and health. Her business articles have been published in China Daily, Entrepreneur, The Financial Times, Forbes, and Investopedia.

Brigitte started her communications and publications firm, B.Y. Communications Worldwide, which has included clients like Royal Caribbean and IZEA. In addition, she developed online content management courses on Udemy and published two ebooks on personal finance and social media through her business.

As a communications advisor and customer relationship and project manager, Brigitte has worked at Fortune 500 companies and global corporations developing marketing deliverables, such as whitepapers, case studies, and fact sheets. She has also developed websites and managed communication and social media ad campaigns and video production.

Brigitte has taught courses like English, Business Communications, Professional Development, and the Fundamentals of Math at Florida colleges and universities. She was awarded the Director’s Award for Teaching and Student Service at Brown Mackie College.

Brigitte currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.


Brigitte received her Master’s of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s of Science in Communications with a concentration in Business Journalism from Florida International University and her Bachelor's of Science in Food Science with a minor in Biology from North Carolina State University.
