John Olagues

As the owner of Truth In Options (, John Olagues advises recipients of equity compensation and how to manage those equity securities to reduce risk and taxes, and to enhance value. A graduate of Tulane with a BA in Math, he made All-American honors as a pitcher and captain of the baseball team.

Olagues' experience ranges from a pension consultant to investment advisor to options market maker at the CBOE and the PSE for over 10 years, where he was considered one of the world's foremost options traders and managers of options portfolios. He along with John Summa are finishing a book entitled "Getting Started in Employee Stock Options", which tells grantees how to get the most for their stock compensation.
