Anya Ulinich is a contemporary Russian American novelist, graphic novelist, and short-story writer. She is the author of two esteemed novels: Petropolis and Lena Finkle's Magic Barrel. Her stories and essays have appeared in The New York Times, Zoetrope: All-Story, n+1, and PEN America Journal. Ulinich holds an MFA from the University of California, Davis, and has taught writing at New York University and at the Gotham Writer’s Workshop. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
