Wendy Connett has worked as a financial journalist and editor for more than 20 years. Based in New York City, Wendy writes for a variety of financial publications and has served as managing editor for a number of high-profile industry journals, in both digital and print formats. 

Wendy’s subject matter expertise includes hedge funds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, defined-contribution and pension plans, compliance and regulation. Wendy has particular deep experience working in asset management with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Globally minded, Wendy is an avid traveler, and has developed working relationships in wealth-management and family-office communities around the world.

Wendy also has worked with nonprofits on media-related strategies including website design, social media, copywriting, and photography. In addition to her career in journalism, Wendy has built a strong reputation and portfolio as a freelance travel photographer. She travels the world to photograph the people, celebrations, icons, lifestyle, and culture that make each country unique. Wendy’s images appear regularly in newspapers, magazines, brochures, advertisements, travel guidebooks, and textbooks. Education

Wendy received a BA degree in Journalism from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. She also completed an intensive multimedia bootcamp at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in all aspects of advanced digital communication.
