George Hogan has more than 15 years of financial industry experience. He has worked as a fund account, consultant, analyst, senior analyst, and portfolio and quantitative sales manager. George has achieved his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designations.
George's first position in the finance industry was as a fund account at Franklin Templeton. He's also worked as a sell-side analyst at Macquarie Securities in Tokyo, covering advertising, media, Internet, and games companies. He currently works as a sales specialist for FactSet in Tokyo, where he manages a small team focused on the company's portfolio performance and risk analytics products.
George completed his master's in economics as a Mombukagakusho Scholar at Meikai University. Later, he completed his master's in investment banking at INSEAD, where his courses were split mainly between Singapore and France.
