Laura Dragonette is an editorial and publishing professional with five years of experience. Laura is particularly interested in copy editing and catching mistakes before a publication goes to print. She has spent the majority of her professional career in New York City, where she completed both the Columbia Publishing Course and the NYU Gold Standard course in copy editing and proofreading. As a freelancer with St. Martin's Press, Laura edited and proofread a variety of titles, mostly working with crime novels and women's fiction but also particularly enjoying literary and historical fiction. She also works full time as a project editor at W. W. Norton, editing a variety of titles in political science, history, and sociology.
