Colin has found success as a filmmaker, podcast producer, copywriter, author, editor, journalist, publisher, poet, product developer, and communications professional. He says that it has been a fantastic ride that has broadened his perspective, honed a wide range of skills, and poised him for great things. Colin has covered everything from mutual funds and alternative investments to legislative and regulatory developments in the capital markets. Outside of financial services, he has written on everything from biotechnology to cheap steakhouses. For Investopedia, Colin has taken on some of the meatier biographies on the site.
Colin received his bachelor's degree from The New School.
Colin's poems, short stories and essays have appeared in more than three hundred publications, been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net Anthology. His longer works have been finalists for the Trio House Press Louise Bogan Award and the 42 Miles Press Poetry Award, and semi-finalists for the Horatio Nelson Fiction Prize and the American Zoetrope Screenplay Contest. His poetry collection Spokes of an Uneven Wheel was published by Main Street Rag Publishing Company in 2018.
