Colin Dodds has found success as a filmmaker, podcast producer, copywriter, author, editor, journalist, publisher, poet, product developer, and communications professional. He says that it has been a fantastic ride that has broadened his perspective, honed a wide range of skills, and poised him for great things. Colin has covered everything from mutual funds and alternative investments to legislative and regulatory developments in the capital markets. Colin received his bachelor's degree from The New School.

Colin's poems, short stories, and essays have appeared in more than three hundred publications. Some have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net Anthology.

His longer writings have been finalists for the Trio House Press Louise Bogan Award and the 42 Miles Press Poetry Award, and semi-finalists for the Horatio Nelson Fiction Prize and the American Zoetrope Screenplay Contest.

Main Street Rag Publishing Company published his poetry collection, Spokes of an Uneven Wheel, in 2018.
