Tim Brugger is a full-time freelance writer, who founded and manages Quality Content LLC, located in Tigard, Oregon. Writing for a variety of clients globally, much of Tim’s work reflects his 18-year tenure in financial services, with topics that span investing, personal finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and international business. 

Tim began his career as a financial advisor, adding training and managerial roles at multiple retail investment firms as his experienced progressed. Ultimately, Tim worked his way to the institutional side of the business, where he served as vice president and manager at two independent equity research firms.

Although he continues to write business and informational articles, including digital content, for financial organizations, Tim enjoys assignments where he can engage in a more creative and varied writing style. In fact, Tim’s heart lies in writing fiction. He published his first book of fiction in 2011, called The Lives of Stupid People Volume 1, and has authored a number of award-winning short stories.


Tim studied business at the University of Oregon.
