Dean St Marie started his financial career in Birmingham AL in 1989 with Welch Financial Advisors. After moving to the Brevard area in 1993 he began working with Carolina Financial Group, an investment banking firm, in 1995. While at CFG he also ran his own Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm. He left CFG in 2008 to work with Edward Jones Investments in Brevard and worked there until he decided to work with LPL Financial in 2011. In order to better serve his clients he started his own Registered Investment Advisory firm, St. Marie Financial Advisors, LLC in August of 2011.

Dean got into the financial planning field as a volunteer debt counselor with the Larry Burkett organization back in the early 80s. He really enjoyed the feeling when a person that was in debt and couldn't see the way out all of a sudden let out a breath and relaxed once they saw the solution to their crisis. Dean looked for a way to continue that feeling that he was helping others and settled on helping people with their investments and financial goals. This area is so confusing to so many people and is just getting worse. Dean also felt that there were a lot of advisors that were only interested in selling someone something and going to the next person. Achieving financial security is a lifelong process - not a onetime sale.

An outgrowth of this is being involved in helping make Brevard a better place for Dean's clients, his wife, his children, and himself to live. Dean has volunteered at a number of local organizations with the express goal of improving Brevard. Dean was named the Transylvania/Brevard Chamber Businessperson of the Year 2015 for his volunteer efforts.

Dean earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Barry University.

Quote from Dean St Marie

"I am tremendously blessed to be able to make my living doing something that I enjoy that also helps so many others and hope to be able to do this for years to come."
