In 2016, Dock left the sun of Miami Beach for the quiet of the Blue Ridge Mountains. He splits his time between an off-grid farm in east Tennessee and the mountains of western North Carolina, where he works as a freelance contributor and content strategist. He has served as a writer and editor at some of the fastest-growing online publications in the country, including Fit Small Business, where he oversaw content related to Insurance, Personal Finance, Business Finance, and Real Estate Investing.
