Ethan's expertise in cryptocurrency mining stems from four years of operational experience. Beginning in late 2017, Ethan helped launch altcoin mining pools across North America. In mid summer 2018, Ethan helped build a mining colocation company that hosted a few thousand ASICs, utilizing 4 megawatts of power.

Since then, Ethan has helped Luxor grow to one of the largest crypto mining companies globally. In addition, Ethan helped launched the first ever cryptocurrency mining specific ETF. Previously, Ethan worked on the blockchain coverage team at Goldman Sachs and did deals in the semiconductor, energy, and real estate space, all of which are key pillars to crypto mining.

During college at Queen's University, Ethan studied finance with classes in economics and computer science. He graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Commerce. During his time at Queen's University, Ethan was a portfolio manager for the TMT sector at Limestone Capital, a student-run investment club.
