Ben Campbell has more than 30 years of experience in the securities and banking industries, where he has established an outstanding track record in building trading operations and creating short-term investment strategies.

As CEO and Founder of Capital Advisors Group, Ben plays an active role in both the Company’s overall business strategy and in overseeing its investment portfolios, product development, and client relationship management efforts. He also acts as Chief Investment Officer.

Ben is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has been quoted in publications such as Treasury & Risk and the Wall Street Journal. In June 2011, Ben was named one of the “100 Most Influential People in Finance” by Treasury & Risk for Capital Advisors Group’s work on auction-rate securities and the rollout of FundIQ® money market fund research.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors and is Vice President and Treasurer of the Seymour H. Knox Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to arts, education, and human services organizations. Ben also serves on the Board of Directors for the Waterfowl Research Foundation. Additionally, from 1999-2008 he served on the Finance Committee and was a Co-Chair of the Investment Sub-Committee of Ducks Unlimited, Inc., one of the country’s largest conservation organizations.

Prior to founding Capital Advisors Group, Ben was a Vice President in the money market center at The Boston Company and held various positions at Fidelity Investments.

Ben earned a B.S. degree in business management from Ithaca College.

Lance Pan joined Capital Advisors Group in 2003. As Director of Investment Research and Strategy, Lance assesses the risk and relative value of asset classes and credits, creates advanced credit approval and surveillance procedures, issues credit opinions, and provides investment strategy recommendations. Lance oversees Capital Advisors Group’s Credit Committee.

Previously, Lance was a Senior Corporate Research Analyst at Columbia Management Group (FleetBoston Financial) in Boston, where he was responsible for fundamental analysis and related strategies for the firm’s mutual funds and large institutional accounts. Earlier in his career, Lance worked for Central Pacific Bank in Honolulu.

Lance received an MSF from Boston College, an MBA and an M.A. in communications from the University of Hawaii, and a B.A. in English from Fudan University. He is a CFA charterholder and member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Joseph Rosano

William Baldwin

William Baldwin's career began with Touche Ross & Company and continued in private practice before joining Babson Financial Management where he was a vice president. In 1986, William worked with Tax & Financial Advisors which became Pillar Financial in 1998, then merged with Argent Wealth Management in 2013.

William graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Later he earned his Juris Doctor degree at Boston College Law School and a LL.M. in Taxation at Boston University. William served on both the Northeast-Mid-Atlantic Board of Directors and on the National Board of the National Association Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and was named on of the 30 most influential members of NAFPA in its 30 year history! He is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC) and served on the Board of Directors twice. William was named to Worth Magazine’s list of Top Financial Advisors five times, an award also bestowed on him by Barron’s twice in his career.

William enjoys cycling, sailing, skiing and is an active volunteer for charitable organizations. He is a proud member of the Dana Farber Flames Pan Mass Challenge team and works with Cradles to Crayons to provide at-risk children with the essentials they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play. He also served on the Board of Directors and as Commodore of the Winchester Boat Club and as a member of the Winchester, MA Retirement Board.

It’s in a similar vein that Eric enjoys rolling up his sleeves and evaluating the latest academic and practitioner concepts and incorporating these new ideas where appropriate to the formulation of our research driven investment strategies.

Eric has over 25 years of investment management and capital market research experience having worked in senior leadership roles at some of the premier asset managers in the industry such as Russell, Invesco, Pioneer, MFS and Hermes, a pioneer in socially responsible investing.  He also spent time at the Federal Reserve as an Economic Analyst.

Eric received an M.B.A degree in Finance from the University of Chicago, where he was the recipient of the Dart & Kraft Fellowship Award for students of Hispanic origin. He also has a M.S. degree in Applied Economics & Statistics from the University of Minnesota and graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in agricultural business.

He has authored over ten journal articles in a variety of academic journals, including Journal of Portfolio ManagementThe Financial Analyst JournalThe Journal of Investing, and the Journal of Management Sciences. He has spoken at numerous investment conferences and has appeared on television business programs such as CNBC, Marketwatch and Bloomberg TV.

Eric was born in Washington, DC into a multi-cultural family and spent a significant amount of his early years living in Latin America and Europe.

His passions are his three children, sports, global economics, and interacting with people from all walks in life and backgrounds. He has lived in the Boston area since 1993, first in Acton and currently in Charlestown.
