Harmony Hunter has been a career writer for over 20 years, embracing everything from NASA assignments probing the far reaches of Space to extremely Earthly explorations of her native Virginia's Revolutionary-era history. After graduating from the College of William and Mary, Harmony become a public outreach specialist for NASA’s Langley Research Center, where she developed expertise in science and technology.
Harmony gained expertise in history and research as a writer, editor, and producer for Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. There, she produced and hosted “Past and Present,” a podcast on the colonial history of Williamsburg, Va.
Harmony continues to provide professional writing services to a wide variety of print and online clients, including nonprofits, magazines, and technology companies. She is the recipient of the NASA Director’s Award: 2004, the W3 Award: 2008, the Communicator Award: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and the MUSE Award: 2010.
