Before launching her business as an independent writer, Isabel led communications initiatives regarding skills and jobs in technology at IBM. Prior to that, she worked for various public relations firms in New York City, and her work has appeared on Forbes.

Isabel is a pro-bono Cultural Advisor for the World Council of Peoples for the United Nations, an organization that promotes the UN’s goals and initiatives. She has collaborated with Penn State University, been a guest on the podcast PR Wars, and has been a guest lecturer on corporate reputation at City University of New York.

Isabel is fully fluent in Spanish and French. She also speaks basic Portuguese.

Isabel received her master's at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris, France, after first getting her bachelor's degree from Middlebury College in Vermont.
