Katie is a storyteller with a passion for travel, as well as its applications within the bridal industry. She got her start as an Editorial Assistant at Travel + Leisure, and quickly moved up to becoming a Features and Travel Editor for Condé Nast Brides. As a freelancer, she has contributed content to a myriad of publications, from Real Simple and Condé Nast Traveler to Martha Stewart Weddings and TripAdvisor. Her experiences in both the millennial-driven bridal industry and her expertise in storytelling resulted in the creation of MegaWatt Events, which offers hospitality consulting and content marketing services through the lens of destination weddings.
