Katie is a storyteller with a passion for travel, as well as its applications within the bridal industry. She got her start as an Editorial Assistant at Travel + Leisure, and quickly moved up to becoming a Features and Travel Editor for Condé Nast Brides. As a freelancer, she has contributed content to a myriad of publications, from Real Simple and Condé Nast Traveler to Martha Stewart Weddings and TripAdvisor. Her experiences in both the millennial-driven bridal industry and her expertise in storytelling resulted in the creation of MegaWatt Events, which offers hospitality consulting and content marketing services through the lens of destination weddings.
Katie is a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Georgetown University, where she also minored in Spanish Language and Literature.
