Katrina Ávila Munichiello has worked for Investopedia since 2018 as a fact-checker, and she worked as a fact-checker for America's Test Kitchen since 2015. Katrina also served as editor for two national print magazines and proofreader for an independent publishing house, and she has written articles for the Boston Globe, Yankee Magazine, and a wide range of other publications. Katrina is the author of A Tea Reader: Living Life One Cup at a Time (Tuttle).
Katrina received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tufts University and a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University.
