Liz Manning started work as a Financial Futures Sales Associate at Kidder, Peabody & Co., headquartered in New York City. She obtained her Series 7 and Series 3 licenses and supported the New York institutional sales team's hedging and arbitrage efforts. Liz then became a Financial Futures Specialist and worked with corporations, commercial banks, and high-net-worth individuals. She developed hedging strategies, initiated and monitored daily trading, and produced client-specific financial programs. Later, Liz established a communications firm that specifically focused on financial institutions and their individual investors. She has been a strategist and writer on innumerable money and investing topics concerning retail investors, including major women's investing initiatives at Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America. Currently, she focuses on writing and editing articles concerned with various types of investing, individual trading, and personal finance.
Liz graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY with a B.A. in History.
