• Lucy is a scientist who began her career in trading cryptocurrencies and developing educational and engaging content for blockchain and crypto startups in 2018.
• After working as an advocate for the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in certain rural areas in Nigeria, Lucy moved to Abuja where she started a career in crypto trading and blockchain writing.

Experience

Lucy began her career as a crypto trader and advisor at Guru Capital LTD where she offered crypto investment and advisory services to new and existing investors, while also writing engaging web content.

She later joined Paychant, a crypto payment gateway backed by Celo, and DeFi Planet, a blockchain-focused publishing company where she worked as a blockchain writer and crypto journalist.

Since then, she has worked with other crypto startups such as Spherium Finance and CRD Network as a blockchain writer, creating content to boost the growth and marketing activities of these companies.

Lucy joined Investopedia in March 2022 as a contributor to the company’s cryptocurrency wallet and exchange reviews. 

Education

Lucy obtained a degree in Microbiology from Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria, and she is currently working on obtaining an MBA in Marketing and Management at the University of Abuja.
