Summary
Neal McGrath is a New York-based financial journalist with more than 20 years of experience covering . Neal started his career covering the Asia-Pacific region for the Economist Intelligence Unit in Hong Kong, then joined Asian Business magazine. He's subsequently held a variety of editorial positions covering business, economics, finance and sustainability. Neal has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany and the US.
Experience
Neal has extensive experience in numerous business areas, including retail investing, airlines, express delivery, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, technology, sustainability and retail, having held communications roles in all of these industries. Neal has worked in numerous countries, largely in the Asia-Pacific region. Neal was also on hand to experience numerous seminal events in Asia. He moved to the southern China region one week after the June 4 massacre in Beijing, and lived in Hong Kong through the transition from British to Chinese sovereignty. Neal was also in Asia at the time of the Asian Financial Crisis.

Neal earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, where he studied German and Applied Linguistics.
