It's now the season when retailers are opening their doors in anticipation of shoppers opening their wallets in search of the best Black Friday deals. Millions are set to get a jump start on the sales on Thanksgiving, and millions more are scouting out the stores for Black Friday. If you’ll be joining the crowds, it helps to know where the best bargains can be found.

Where to Find the Best Black Friday Deals

Black Friday sales ads have been rolling out early this year, with retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target doing their best to compete with Amazon. Despite the size of your budget, here are some deals you might appreciate.

Wal-Mart (WMT) is a Black Friday shopping staple, and this year’s Black Friday ad features some hard-to-beat deals. Among the highlights are the 65" Class 4K Roku Smart TV, discounted to $398 on Thanksgiving day, and the Samsung Galaxy S7, which is priced at $199 for Straight Talk customers. Wal-Mart’s Black Friday sale also features tons of deals on kids’ toys and clothes, as well as tires.

Target has Black Friday deals that are sure to hit their mark. Shoppers can score PowerbeatsWireless headphones for $89.99, a savings of $110. The Element 55" 4k Ultra HD TV will fly off the shelves at $199.99, a $180 savings off the original price. Target's Black Friday sale covers electronics, toys, games, and more. Don't want to fight the crowd? REDcard holders gain early access to select Black Friday sales on November 21.

Amazon (AMZN) sponsors a week of Black Friday deals, with new sales offered daily. However, there are a few promotions shoppers will want to prioritize. At the top of the list is the 3rd generation Echo Dot + Time Mate, which is being advertised for 49.99, 50% of the original price; the Echo Dot alone is priced at $24. While supplies last, gamers can score a Nintendo Switch Customized Bundle Option priced at $369.99 – more than $100 off the original price.

Best Buy

Best Buy (BBY) has struggled to remain competitive with Amazon, but it’s coming out swinging on Black Friday. The VIZIO 55" 4K Ultra High Def TV will be just $349.99, and the KitchenAid Professional 500 Series stand mixer stands tall at $219.99, $280 off the regular price. Been thinking about upgrading your computer or laptop? The Microsoft Surface Pro 12.3" Touch Screen Laptop is $360 off the original price. Available for only $599.

Shoppers who are looking for deals on apparel, housewares, and trendy electronics may want to check out Macy’s (M) on Black Friday. Some of the door-buster deals advertised online include steep discounts on appliances, cookware, bedding, and linens. The Apple Watch Series 3 sells for between $199 and $329, taking a huge chunk off of the regular sales price of between $279 and $409.

As part of its Black Friday promotion, Kohl’s (KSS) is offering $15 in Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent between November 19-23. The LG 49" 4K Smart TV is included in this massive sale; so you can get $90 in Kohl’s cash when you buy it for $329.99. If getting in shape is one of your New Year’s resolutions, check out the deals on Fitbit Charge 3 wristbands, which are going for $119.99. They are discounted $30 off of the original retail price and grant $30 in Kohl's cash, resulting in more than $60 in savings. Kohl’s will also be running specials on everything from vacuum cleaners to jewelry to drones over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Home Depot

Home Depot (HD) is the ultimate shopping destination for deals on refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers this Black Friday. Shoppers can save 40% on selected brands, and you can get additional savings of $60 to $500 when you buy two or more major appliances. Power tools and holiday lighting and decor are also included in the Black Friday specials.

The Bottom Line

The best way to get ready for Black Friday is to begin planning early and check out deals in advance. Compare your shopping list with your budget, so you don’t accidentally overspend. And remember that the deals and savings don’t end on Black Friday. You’ll also want to check out what retailers have to offer on Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.
