It's difficult to keep up with all the developments, financial information and price changes of all the stocks in your portfolio, much less those that you’d buy given the right opportunity. A watchlist is an easy way to do that.
You're in luck though: Investopedia’s Watchlist allows you to create multiple lists of stocks that you want to keep an eye on with the latest news and price movements for those companies. Here’s how you can create a watchlist:
Go to Investopedia.com and find the markets tab on the top of the page.
You can select Watchlist from the drop down menu or click on the red Add New Watchlist button.
Once you are on the Watchlist page, click Sign Up to enter your details, then click Register.
Enter the stocks you’d like to follow by typing into the search field in the blue bar, then click Add.
You will see the stocks appear in your Watchlist with trading details and an overview of the fundamentals. If you’d like to add multiple watchlists, just click the blue Add New Watchlist button.
