Norah Kearney began working as a freelance copy editor at Investopedia in 2021. Her editing career began in 2015, working with small businesses, online publications, and independent writers. Through this experience, Norah was able to help individuals and small corporations build their style and brand. Additionally, Norah is an English teacher, supporting middle school students to grow as writers themselves.

Her love for education inspired her to become a financial coach. With her passion for finance paired with her love of writing and editing, Norah is excited to help writers at Investopedia polish and strengthen their work.


Norah earned a Master of Arts in Teaching: Secondary English from Brandeis University. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Webster University.
